Jeong Do-jeon (Korean:정도전, hanja:鄭道傳, 1342 – 1398), also known by the pen name Sambong(삼봉), was a politician of the early Joseon dynasty , served as First Prime Minister or First Chief State Councillor from 1392 to 1398 until he was killed by King Taejong . He was a supporter and adviser to Yi Seonggye (who ruled as King Taejo), founder of the Joseon dynasty.
